PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Work for the expansion project, doubling the square footage to accommodate past and future growth, includes a space plan that alleviates manifold organizational problems with expert interior design. Project bonds two brand identities, within the same interior space, to mirror their shared purpose.
DESIGN SUMMARY The Design delivers on the organizations four main objectives: allot more square footage, per person, and access to a phone and computer, per person; increase the number of Client Services rooms; improve the placement and space allotment for vital records and archives; address privacy concerns. The Design communicates calm, amid uncertainty, and warmth and care, amid isolation or loneliness. It begins with the color palette derived from the Metro Women’s Care brand and finishes within that spectrum of color. White, with a blue-green undertone, is added to foster a clean, crisp, and calm healthcare environment. Warmth is brought in with LVT flooring in a simulated wood with an orange undertone, crossing the color wheel in a complimentary fashion. Organic motifs are utilized in various finishes to promote a sense of good health and well-being, such as flooring, millwork laminate, and decorative wall panels.
