PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Develop a consistent style and move existing campus facilities to a less traditional or colonial style, using finishes, furnishings, and equipment that have a long life cycle and ease of maintenance. Integrate blue color scheme from the Calvary Road Christian School and the neutral color palette of the church ministry. Create a Coffee Café, improve Restrooms, and redesign Main Sanctuary Lobby.
DESIGN SUMMARY Steered Main Sanctuary Lobby toward hospitality, and a less contract, corporate feel, with the choice of seating, glass and antique bronze chandeliers, window treatments, and warm wood tones in custom millwork.
Formed the Main Sanctuary Lobby to move people easily, while removing the room’s long, rectangle shape with a custom radius banquette.
Worked within the neutral palette by corralling a myriad of textures and unique finishes and furnishings for visual interest that transport the end user throughout the facilities with cohesive style.
Planned Coffee Café as a flex space that offers stack and store seating. Seating at 30” table height seating, 36” standing/sitting height tables accommodates a variety of end users.
Improved all Restrooms by installing the wall tile to the ceilings and covering the CMUs (concrete masonry units) and utilizing durable, easy to use and clean equipment and fixtures.
Planned storage to meet organizational needs.
